Description
Plate-loaded belt squat for heavy lower-body training without spinal loading.
The Belt Squat loads the squat through a belt at the hips rather than a bar on the back, so the quads and glutes do the work while the spine carries no axial load. That suits athletes managing back fatigue, rehabilitation programmes and high-volume leg sessions.
A Spud Inc medium belt squat belt is included. A gas-assisted safety stopper holds the load while the lifter clips in and catches it again on the way out. The large aluminium foot platform gives room to set a wide or narrow stance, and a band peg lets trainers add variable resistance.
Starting load is 20kg. Movement and storage weight pins are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 229kg.

Bench Built Lifetime frame warranty
The frame is covered for as long as you keep the equipment in service at the facility it was supplied to. Frame means the welded steel structure: base, uprights and main supports. Movement arms, safeties, bearings, pads and cables carry their own periods. Because we build it, Bench-made spare parts are produced in our own factory to the same drawings, and we support parts for at least 10 years after a model is discontinued.
