Description
Seated plate-loaded calf raise for commercial gyms.
The Seated Calf Raise loads the calves with the knee bent, which takes the gastrocnemius out of the movement and puts the work on the soleus. The lifter drives up onto the toes from a full stretch with the knee pad locked over the thighs.
Seat height is gas-assisted and can be set with one hand, and the aluminium checker plate foot platform adjusts so the ball of the foot sits on the edge for a complete range. A spotter-assist handle on the movement arm helps a heavy set to the top, and grab handles at the knee adjustment and under the seat keep the body planted.
Empty starting load is 36kg. Movement arm pins are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 140kg.

Bench Built Lifetime frame warranty
The frame is covered for as long as you keep the equipment in service at the facility it was supplied to. Frame means the welded steel structure: base, uprights and main supports. Movement arms, safeties, bearings, pads and cables carry their own periods. Because we build it, Bench-made spare parts are produced in our own factory to the same drawings, and we support parts for at least 10 years after a model is discontinued.
