Concept2 SkiErg for double-pole and alternating-arm Nordic skiing work, supplied by Bench.
The Concept2 SkiErg brings the Nordic skiing movement to the gym floor. It trains legs, arms and core together and supports both double-pole and alternating-arm technique, so it suits cross-country athletes as much as conditioning classes.
It uses the same air-resistance flywheel and monitoring system as the Concept2 rower. A spiral damper adjusts airflow to change the feel of the pull from flat terrain to an uphill climb. The drive runs on high-strength cords that are lighter than steel for a responsive pull. Strapless handles need no adjustment for hand size and do not absorb sweat, so they stay dry in high-use settings.
The PM5 monitor connects by Bluetooth and ANT+ to heart rate belts and apps including Concept2 ErgData. The SkiErg can be wall mounted for the smallest footprint or used on a floor stand with an anti-skid deck and castors. Assembly is twelve screws with tools supplied.
