Description
Plate-loaded pendulum squat for deep squatting with constant tension.
The Pendulum Squat swings the load on an arc rather than a straight rail. The arc keeps resistance on the legs through the bottom of the squat where a fixed rail lightens off, and lets the knees travel forward so the lifter can squat deep with an upright torso.
A range limiter sets the depth, useful for progressing a member from partials to full depth or working around a knee issue. The foot platform angle adjusts across four positions to shift emphasis between quads and glutes, and the platform itself is a large aluminium checker plate with room for a wide stance.
It runs on upgraded bearings and movement assemblies. Starting load is 63kg. Movement arm and storage weight pins are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 288kg.

Bench Built Lifetime frame warranty
The frame is covered for as long as you keep the equipment in service at the facility it was supplied to. Frame means the welded steel structure: base, uprights and main supports. Movement arms, safeties, bearings, pads and cables carry their own periods. Because we build it, Bench-made spare parts are produced in our own factory to the same drawings, and we support parts for at least 10 years after a model is discontinued.
