Description

Plate-loaded chest supported row with 13-position handle adjustment.

The Chest Supported Row puts the lifter face down on an angled chest pad with the feet on two aluminium checker plate platforms, so the lower back carries nothing and the pull is all lats, rhomboids and rear delts. It is the machine for rowing heavy when the lower back is already tired from squats and deadlifts.

The handle position adjusts across 13 positions. That range moves the row from a low, lat-focused pull to a high, upper-back pull and changes the grip width in between, which is why one machine can cover what several fixed-handle rows do. The handles are rotating D-handles with softened knurling, on zinc-coated and powder-coated assemblies.

Empty starting load is 23kg. Movement and storage pins are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 145kg.
