Description

Plate-loaded lat pull down for lat width and upper-back work.

The Lat Pull Down loads a vertical pull on a fixed movement arm rather than a cable, so the path is the same every rep and there is no cable or pulley to wear out. The lifter pulls the handles down and back towards the chest with the thighs under the pad.

Handles are rotating D-handles with softened knurling, so the wrists can turn through the pull from a pronated start to a more neutral finish. The handle assemblies are zinc coated and powder coated. Seat height is gas-assisted and the feet rest on an aluminium checker plate platform.

The empty starting load is 1kg, so resistance is the plates the user puts on it. Movement and storage pins are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 168kg.
