Description

Seated plate-loaded shrug for strict upper-trap loading.

The Seated Shrug takes the legs out of the movement. Standing shrugs with a bar or dumbbells invite a bounce from the knees and hips; seated, with the lifter locked into the pad, the traps have to do the work on their own and the load can be increased without the form falling apart.

Seat height is gas-assisted, and the handle height adjusts separately so the arms hang at the right length for each user before the set starts. Handles are knurled assemblies with softened knurling, zinc undercoated and powder coated.

Weight pins on the movement arm and storage are stainless steel. The 75mm x 75mm steel tube frame is built by Bench in Thailand. Machine weight is 113kg.
